Tanunda in Barossa Valley

Tanunda implies "water hole" in Australian aboriginal language. It is among the towns in Barossa Valley that about 70 kilometres from the eastern area of Adelaide, Australia. Most inhabitants are Prussians of Germanic culture. The town was once a village of Bethanien long ago in 1842 until Prussian initially settled the place.

Heysen Walking Trail is a 1200 km-walk from Parachilna Gorge to Fleurieu Peninsula. On hthe other hand, Mawson Cycling Trail is well suited for bikers who prefers biking in long distance along rural places. The cycling path is more than eight kms long starting from Torrens Linear Park right down to Flinders Ranges.
